What to expect in the Erica Lee Armstrong Designs process:

  1. Contact me and detail the work that you need done. It helps speed the process along if you have given this a great deal of thought and can provide me with as much detail as possible right off the bat. I will respond to you as soon as possible with any points of clarification, and ultimately provide you a quote and an estimated work timeline. You are free to obtain a quote and work timeline without any obligation. Providing you are happy with what I can offer we will advance to step two.
  2. The legal stuff. At this point, I will send to you a contract that outlines both the services I will be providing and the details of your payment(s). My general policy is that 50% of my fee is due before work begins, with the remaining 50% paid upon satisfactory completion of the project. I can be flexible, contact me for details.
  3. Provide content. It is the client's responsibility to provide me with the text and images necessary to continue with the project. These should be provided in a digital format and can be submitted on a CD, via FTP or via email. I can help guide you with this step if it seems daunting!
  4. View mock-up(s). I will submit to you one or more proposed designs for your feedback. If you like what you see, we'll continue - if not, I'll make any necessary changes, or go back to the 'drawing board'. If you have a specific vision for how you want your finished project to look, it is helpful if I can know it before this stage so we can avoid wasting your time and mine!
  5. Project creation. Based upon the design concept you approved in step 4, I will go to work creating the 'almost final' product.
  6. Revisions and sign off. I will present a proof of the project for you and you'll carefully look it over and submit to me any final minor adjustments that need made. Once you're completely satisfied, you will 'sign off' and receive the final project in its completed form. As mentioned earlier, at this point the remaining 50% of my fee becomes due.
  7. (Optional) Future changes. Once you have signed off on a project, any further changes or updates will be subject to my hourly fee. If you will be requiring updates on a regular basis, we can negotiate a maintenance package.
