Mediterranean Cruise – Part 4
Civitavecchia, which is the nearest port to Rome, was next; however, I decided I didn’t want to make the 1.5 hr trek (and spend lots of $$) to tour Rome, so I relaxed and enjoyed the amenities on the Constellation instead! I was still getting over laryngitis and the extra rest did me good. I took the time to take some photos of my inside stateroom and a few places around the ship (and the view from the ship) but that was about it! The next day was a different story. We docked in Naples and I took a guided tour of Pompeii. What a fascinating place! Lots of pictures of that! The final day of the cruise was a “sea day”, so I took a few photos on the ship of my surroundings and the entertainment. Don’t miss the 2nd and 3rd page.
